Slaughden, Suffolk

Slaughden, like so many other places on the East Anglian coast, has an alien element to it in the shape of rocks imported from Scandinavia to help protect the coast from further erosion.

There is a certain irony in the fact that the rocks are as photogenic as the coastline which they have been introduced to protect.

0.8 second exposure at f/20.

Canon EOS5D and EF 16-35mm lens.
