The Naze, Essex

All landscape photographers have their favourite local landscape. The Naze, near the town of Walton in Essex, is an intriguing place because of its rare geological qualities. Despite appearances, this rock is not a natural element in the Naze's landscape, but is rather a remnant of the rock defences constructed to protect the Naze from erosion.

1.6 seconds exposure at f/22.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 24-105mm lens.
