Willy Lott's Cottage

Thanks to the painter John Constable, who was born in the nearby village of East Bergholt in 1776, Willy Lott's cottage is arguably the most famous - and unarguably the most painted, printed and framed - cottage in England.

This image was captured long after sunset, and relies for light on the illumination of both the cottage itself and Flatford Mill behind.

Exposure of 30 seconds at f/18. 500 ISO.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 24-105mm lens.
