Blakeney Quay, Norfolk

Blakeney Quay lies in an officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Norfolk coast. The photograph was taken after the sun had set, and so required a long exposure. The risk with long exposures is that potentially distracting movement may be captured. In this case, it was hoped that the foreground boats were tied tightly enough together to keep them from stirring.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 16-35mm lens.

Exposure of 10 seconds at f/14.
