Maldon, Essex

Many towns and villages on the East Anglian coast have sky lines that appear not to have changed in centuries. The roofs of houses huddle together in the lofty company of church towers and spires. Maldon, in Essex, is one such town. Such scenes are reminiscent of the views of distant towns depicted in Dutch 17th century oil paintings.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 24-105mm lens.

Exposure of 0.8 second at f/18.
