This stone is one of many forming bronze age circles that stand close to the village of Minions on Bodmin Moor. Shortly before this image was captured, Bodmin ponies grazed on the grass around the circles; but with their heads down and their thoughts far from any consideration of how they might most photogenically appear, they were not the most co-operative of models. As is so often said, never work with animals or children!
