Hunstanton

Not only is Hunstanton the only coastal location in East Anglia which actually faces west (much to the joy of those of us who look at sunrises through bleary eyes), but it has rocks....a feature that's sadly lacking in the south-east of England.

This wide angle shot celebrates the shape of the tide pool and its accompanying rock, while a line of cloud joins the immediately recognisable Hunstanton cliff-face by receding into the distance.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 17-40mm lens.

Exposure of 1.6 seconds at f/18.
