Hadleigh Castle

This composition, captured after sunset, persuades the eye to run along one of the many walls that decorate the hill on the which the remains of the 13th century Hadleigh Castle still stand. In the distance can be seen the low-lying landscape that surrounds the Thames as it runs out to meet the North Sea.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 17-40mm lens.

6.2 seconds’ exposure at f/16.
