The Roaches
The spectacular Peak District rock formation known as The Roaches, as seen from Hen Cloud. Hen Cloud and The Roaches are both part of the same grit escarpment that can be found in the south-western part of the Peak District. It is a tribute to the work of the Peak District National Park Authority that a national park (England’s first) located in close proximity to some of England’s largest towns and cities can remain a place of such unspoilt beauty.
