Staithes, North Yorkshire

Lobster pots and ropes assemble photogenically in the attractive North Yorkshire village of Staithes. A thick sea fog had pervaded the village that day, but when this photograph was taken the sun was valiantly struggling to break through. Regrettably, as a result the area in the top right of the frame is unacceptably bright.
