Inland East Anglia 1
Flack's Green, Essex
Flack's Green is a small village that lies close to the busy A12 in Essex.
We were attracted to the place by the feature, according to the map, of a windmill. As so often happens, what promised on the map to be a windmill fully equipped with sails turned out to be something rather less.
However, what remains of the structure has been well maintained by the owner of the house of which it forms a part, and that, together with the barn and the wind-blown maize, persuaded us that our trip had not been altogether wasted.
Canon EOS 20D and EFS 17-85mm lens.
Exposure of 4 seconds at f/25.
