Harwich Pier, Essex

There must be many contenders for the title of England's Quaintest Pier, but Harwich Pier would have to be a hot favourite to win. As seems to have happened to so many piers, fire reduced Harwich, built in 1853, to its current diminutive size from the an original length of 350 feet.
