Toronto
This view, from Toronto Harbour, was composed in an effort to capture as many of the city’s landmark buildings as possible: the CN Tower, the closed roof of the Rogers Centre, and, in the distance, the towers of the city’s financial district.
And yet, despite that effort, there is a deficiency in the composition that should have been as obvious at the time of capture as it is now. A Canadian friend looked at this image and remarked on the fact that the CN Tower appeared to be growing from the roof of the less-than-attractive apartment block. Ideally, the block would have been positioned to allow a view of the CN Tower in all its glorious entirety.
Exposure of 1/6 second at f/22.
Canon EOS 5D and EF 16-35mm lens.
