Inland East Anglia 1
How Hill, Norfolk
As any landscape photographer will testify, the grey, lightless weekend of the 14th/15th January 2006 was enough to make you sell your camera and take up stamp collecting instead. We had driven to Norfolk in the faint hope that we could come across one of the breaks in the cloud that the weather forecasters had suggested might appear over the county; but to no avail. It was at How Hill, by the River Ant in Norfolk, that this sight of a stack of cut reeds went some way to compensating for the lack of winter light for which all landscape photographers yearn.
