Swanage

Warm light on an early Spring evening illuminates a jetty and lobster kreels in Durlston Bay, a short distance from the attractive Dorset town of Swanage. Before this image was taken we watched two young girls catch one of the largest crabs we had ever seen, and heard them discussing what to name it. A little while later we saw the girls again, but without their new crustacean friend. What had happened to it , we asked, imagining that the kind young children has returned it to the sea. “Daddy’s cooking it,” the youngest replied, gleefully.
