Cap de Gris Nez
There may not be many advantages in having to wait at least 24 hours in Calais before bringing holidaying pets back into the UK. However, this delay, while waiting for tick and tapeworm treatment to take effect, does at least allow for exploration of the immediate vicinity. The Cap de Gris Nez is an enthralling stretch of coastline a short distance from Calais. Fascinating geology is in abundance here, and if yours dogs love sprinting across wide stretches of sand then for them the Cap de Gris Nez will seem like a dream come true.
