Talamone

A wave, catching the late afternoon sunlight, breaks over a rock in Talamone, a picturesque coastal town that lies close to the spectacular Monte Argentario in Southern Tuscany. Photographers, especially those from East Anglia, have an insatiable appetite for rocks, and so while the greater part of the Tuscan coast may be lined with pleasant but undramatic sandy beaches, Talamone’s rough and craggy features make it an irresistible photographic location.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 17-40mm lens.

Exposure of 0.4 seconds at f/18.
