Benacre

The sun rises on a magical morning at Benacre, in Suffolk. What is not evident from this photograph are the freezing conditions that prevailed that morning. The sand itself was coated in a crisp layer of frost, and although the sea only appears to be frozen because of the effect of the 20 seconds’ exposure, it would have been forgivable on that extremely cold morning to believe that it was covered by ice!
