Llyn Cwm Bychan

Llyn Cwm Bychan is a little piece of Eden located in the mountains about 7 miles away from the attractive Welsh village of Llanbedr. Accessible only by a narrow, winding road with very occasional passing places, the lake’s isolation is only one of its many charms. Close to the lake is a path through idyllic woodland to what are known as the Roman Steps, although whether the steps – which are undoubtedly very old indeed – are Roman or medieval is uncertain.
