The stillness of the water on this lake in North Wales - together with the fact that the midges, although present, were not in the mood for feasting - compensated for the lack of good light on this overcast October day.
This image is primarily a celebration of the reflections produced by the lake's calm waters. The sprinkling of stones helps to occupy what would otherwise be a featureless foreground.
