Porth Nanven, Cornwall

Porth Nanven, close to the town of St Just, has a reputation as a photographers' paradise, primarily because of its extraordinary ovoid rocks. In the distance can be seen the islands known as the Brisons.

This photograph captures the unique shapes of Porth Nanven's rocks and ledges, while allowing the Brisons to occupy the space on the horizon.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 17-40 lens.

Exposure of 1/5 second at f/22.
