Jangye-ryn

Jangye-ryn, a short distance from Gunwalloe and close to the wonderfully positioned church at Church Cove, is an extraordinary location, with some of the most unusual rock formations we have ever seen. Geologists - and of course photographers - may be forgiven for thinking when arriving here that they have died and gone to heaven.

The objective of this composition was to capture the reflection of the setting sun on the wet sands and, more importantly, on the rock boulders and ledges at the foot of the cliff.

Canon EOS 5D and EF 17-40mm lens.

Exposure of 1.3 seconds at f/20.
