SHEPHERD PICS

Our selected photographer of the month for July 2009 is Chris Shepherd. Chris is one of those photographers with the eye to see the potential in the most unremarkable scenes: an autumn leaf on a London drain; the symmetry of some scaffolding; a splintered stick in snow. These subjects, which others would pass by without giving them a second glance, have been beautifully captured and presented by Chris on his superb website (which incidentally is a recipient of the Outdoor Photography Magazine’s Website of the Month Award). His wider landscape images, of scenes from Essex and further afield, are no less impressive.
